Ben Judson is a Senior Software Engineer for the Noun Project in Los Angeles. Sahara Gray is a brand that he uses for freelance and personal projects. In addition to being a programmer and designer, Ben has written extensively about art, design, and community building. He ran the contemporary art blog Emvergeoning (2006-2009), was a Corresponding Editor for Art Lies (2008-2011), and wrote a bi-weekly column on city planning and community for web magazine Plaza de Armas (2011-2013).

The name was inspired by “Francis Bacon: The Logic of Sensation” by Gilles Deleuze.
