[   website portfolio   ]

This website portfolio shows some of the websites I have designed and deployed in the last couple of years. For these sites, I have done nearly all of the graphic design, coding, and database design. The technologies used for each site are listed below the description. All websites on this page are currently active; click the title to browse an individual site.

Moral Ground

Moral Ground

This WordPress-based site is a meeting point for the Moral Ground movement, with information on the book and authors, selected essays, and event details. Using Pods CMS, I developed custom content types, allowing WordPress to function as a more robust content management system.

Contemporary Art Month

Contemporary Art Month

This website, built with Drupal in both desktop and mobile flavors, allows anyone to list arts events with images and maps, and pay for listings via PayPal. After a moderation process, the events are published on a calendar with separate pages for venues and artists. Archived listings and calendars remain on the site. Graphic design by Beto Gonzales.

Mentor Training

Mentor Training

Working alongside mentoring researchers, I developed this website to train high school mentors. After completing a quiz, potential mentors receive their scores via email. So far, this site has been used to train over 3,000 Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors throughout the United States. A secure management system can be used to modify the training and the quiz, as well as track scores.

Works can be organized into any number of nested categories. Pages for bios, statements, or any other information can be added as well. See also: Andy Benavides and Ed Saavedra.

Potter-Belmar Labs: Fortune Tour

Live cinema performers Potter-Belmar Labs needed a site to promote their west coast tour. This simple site functions as a hub for information on the tour, a press kit, and an introduction to the performers themselves. By embedding a YouTube trailer, and integrating feeds from two blogs, we kept the site simple but information-rich.
